JGMA’s Northeastern Illinois University El Centro Campus won the Chicago Building Congress’ 2015 Merit Award for New Construction in Chicago Under $55 Million.
The new NEIU El Centro campus, designed by JGMA, was featured on ABC 7, serving as the filming site for Chicago Ñ Beat program.

JGMA is thrilled to be participating in the inaugural Chicago Architecture Biennial, North America’s largest international survey of contemporary architecture, from October 3, 2015 to January 3, 2016. JGMA will be presenting new work at the Chicago Cultural Center. JGMA President, Juan Moreno, will also be speaking in dialogue with in partnership with the National Museum for Mexican Art.
The new JGMA-designed Our Lady of Guadalupe Sanctuary, in Des Plaines, Illinois, was featured on Univision Chicago.
JGMA has designed a new home for the International Latino Cultural Center in Chicago, IL. The project will be center for future Chicago Latino Film Festivals, as well as a musuem, an education center and offices for the Cultural Center. The project was unveiled at the 2015 Film Festival. Time Out Chicago claims "The bonkers Ibero-American Tower building looks amazing"

Modern Luxury Magazine selected JGMA as the Best Architecture Firm in its Best of Chicago Design Issue. They stated "We believe JGMA has the ability to catapult our city’s reputation from a destination for traditional building design to one of progressive, modern forms as well."
