Gustavo Acosta
Gustavo Acosta was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where his fascination with architecture was sparked by his love for exploring buildings and discovering new places. Knowing from a young age that he wanted to pursue this field, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Environmental Design at the University of Puerto Rico. He then furthered his education with a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he refined his skills and deepened his expertise in the field.
With over nine years of experience, Gustavo is deeply committed to design, urban design, and the transformative power of architecture as a tool for social change. As a Senior Project Designer at JGMA, he is dedicated to fostering a positive and collaborative environment, believing that great design emerges from teamwork and shared vision. His project experience includes aviation-related projects as well as CTA and Metra projects. Outside of his professional life, Gustavo's love for sci-fi fuels his imagination and creativity, which he brings to every design challenge he faces.
